Cowwarr
The Old Butter Factory that was established in 1918 has now been transferred into the contemporary Cowwarr Art Space. The Cowwarr Art Space has a number of exhibitions, artist-in-residence and annual exhibitions that make this a unique space for artists from around Gippsland and further afield.
The Cowwarr Cricket Club Hotel is home to a boutique restaurant open for lunch and dinner Wednesday to Sunday. The Hotel fulfills a lifelong ambition for Helena and her husband to own and run a good country pub, they boast ‘real food for real people’. They also host a High Tea on Sunday afternoons.
The Gippsland Plains Rail trail runs right through Cowwarr, so why not make the high tea part of your cycling journey?
