Port Albert
There is a charm and quiet ambience about Port Albert.
Situated at the southern end of the Ninety Mile Beach, Port Albert is a picturesque seaside fishing village and is one of the few remaining fishing villages still in operation along the Victorian coastline. It was originally the gateway to eastern Victoria as shipping arrived directly from overseas to Port Albert bringing settlers and cargo to the Gippsland Region.

Port Albert is steeped in rich maritime history and the former Bank of Victoria building houses the Gippsland Regional Maritime Museum showcasing treasures and artifacts from the wreck of the ‘Clonmel’, as well as displays showing Port Albert’s role in Gippsland Gold.
Port Albert is closely located to Tarra Bulga National Park.
